Workshop with Journalists at KPC

On 15 th June 2022 The Knowledge Forum in collaboration with the Karachi Press Club organised an informational workshop “Climate Change Reporting: Articulating Key Concerns” for workign journalist at KPC. 

The workshop was attended by 31 journalists. Energy experts Mr. Abdul Rafe and Zain Molvi from Alternative Law Collective (ALC) gave their presentations.

The working journalists gave their views on the climate change challenges in the country especially in Karachi. 

TKF believes that the media has a critical role in highlighting the challenge of climate change,

especially how it impacts citizens. 

Climate change is a complex subject generating diverse narratives and experiences. The media’s capacity in outlining the causes and effects of climate change, therefore, plays a critical role in the representation of the issue and public opinion on the subject.
